<image:title>Home - The Truth About Birth No One Really Tells You</image:title>
<image:caption>When it comes to having a healthy pregnancy, a peaceful – and even enjoyable – birth experience, and support postpartum, one thing is clear: You just don’t know what you don’t know. Oftentimes, medical experts at large practices don’t have the time or the bandwidth to walk their patients through all of the intricate ins and outs of birth. You deserve the utmost support and care throughout this entire journey. A doula makes this happen by bridging information gaps and establishing a deep connection with soon-to-be mamas and their families. Birth With Peace is committed to supporting you in each stage of your pregnancy and postpartum experience with a holistic approach to your physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Hiring a doula for your birth and postpartum needs isn’t just a service – it’s creating a lifelong friendship as you step into this incredible phase of growing your family. I want to get your middle-of-the-night texts, your family’s Christmas card, a picture of your baby’s cake smash at their first birthday party. You’re about to enter an amazing journey – and I’m honored to be a part of it.</image:caption>

She gave excellent, informed counsel and was fully behind me and my husband no matter what decisions we made about our birth experience…We ended up having an incredible, intervention-free birth at 41 weeks 1 day, and I credit a great deal of that to Cece's support and guidance as well as the preparation she gave us.” — Sydni J., First-time mama</image:caption>

<image:title>Reviews - “Four words for Cece: patient, caring, knowledgeable, and non-judgemental. Cece has been a friend for several years. We worked together during the pregnancies of our daughters (both born June 2017) and I loved the camaraderie we had and learning more about the birth process. I just watched Cece read books and blogs and learn everything she could about having a baby and I gleaned so much knowledge from her. When my son was born summer of 2019, I went into labor 17 days early and my husband was out of town. Cece was already on speed dial and she met me at the hospital and was my support person until my husband made it. She was ready to spend the night if necessary on a moments notice. I loved our time together during labor, and she has always been supportive about my birth choices (epidural and pitocin if recommended) and I felt so loved and suported by her. Cece was on the phone, texting my husband and family the updates, and helping me monitor my baby's progression and decisions needing to be made. And yes, my husband did make our sons arrival. Previous to my sons birth, she always had the best stretches or recommendations for comfort during pregnancy. Her passion is evident and her company is a treasure.”</image:title>

<image:title>Reviews - “As husbands go, I was very prepared for each of my children's births. I knew the lingo, I knew helpful positions to labor in, I knew I was going get yelled at and then immediately apologized to followed by more yelling (contractions come and go). I read the birth plan and limbered up for hip squeezing and being used as a human railing when my wife wanted to squat and hold me around the neck for support. But, all the classes, reading, and videos can't prepare a man to see the one he loves in pain nor to balance all the many emotions of labor and birth. I can't speak to what having a Doula like Cece meant to my wife - but for me, it was the difference between feeling alone versus feeling supported. Feeling unsure versus feeling confident in my ability to support my wife. Cece is prepared, thoughtful, capable, level-headed in the midst of high stress, and a comfort to work with, through several births now - all different than the last.”</image:title>

<image:title>Reviews - “I highly recommend working with Cece as your doula or in my case, as my daughter's doula. As the grandmother-to-be, it was so comforting to "meet" Cece over the phone before the actual birthing event took place. Naturally, I had questions and concerns about how certain things would be addressed during the birthing process. Cece listened to carefully to my concerns and addressed each one with such love, care and confidence that I felt I was more prepared! During the birthing process, I was kept up to date and any concerns were addressed as quickly as possible. Even though I wasn't in the delivery room, I felt I was able to take part because of Cece.. Cece is very professional and has excellent bedside manner. I hope we use her again for future grandbabies!!!”</image:title>
